ntiSpyware Protector is a rogue antispyware program designed to scam people out of their money and personal information. Though it is possible to be promoted through Trojans like other rogues, this rogue sticks primarily to being promoted through false advertisements and false praises. This ultimately ends up giving the user a false sense of security.
Once AntiSpyware Protector has been downloaded, it will perform system scans that produce false-positive results. The program will actually generate files and then point to them as malicious. This scare tactic is used in order to trick people into buying the full version of the program.
If this rogue has infected your computer, remove it as soon as possible. If you want to remove it manually, start by killing these processes:
AntiSpyMon.exe
AntiSpyProt.exe
Type : Rogue Security Application
Relative file contents : AntiSpyMon.exe, AntiSpyProt.exe
Delete these registry entries:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AntiSpyware Protector
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AntiSpyware Protector
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “AntiSpyware Protector”
Finally, delete these files:
AntiSpyMon.exe
AntiSpyProt.exe

I downloaded AntiSpyware Protector thinking it will help me (like many other people, I think), but I finally found out that it is a virus. Since then I was trying hard to remove it. There was no chance to do this by myself… My computer’s performance slow down dramatically and no program was able to delete it. I found SpyZooka searching for answers on forums and I try it.
