ErrorGuard is a rogue security program that claims to fix registry errors but in fact only robs people of their money. When it is installed, whether by manual download or by a Trojan horse, it will deliver warnings about registry errors and will advise the user to purchase the full version of the program in order to fix them.
Though registry errors need to be fixed, you shouldn’t trust ErrorGuard to fix them. It will only slow your computer, hinder your Internet connection, and may even download malware onto your computer. Therefore, if you have it on your computer it should be removed immediately. In order to remove it manually, kill the following processes:
