GMSoft is a dialer that uses your computer’s modem to call expensive toll numbers and connect to pornographic locations. These charges will be added to your telephone bill, and additional pornographic material may download to your PC. GMSoft is usually contracted by visiting questionable websites and made possible because your operating system and security settings are lax. GMSoft may install additional malware on your PC, which may carry high security risks. Data may be collected related to your online activities. GMSoft may cause your PC to perform slowly, display pop-up ads, and send spam emails from your email accounts. Because of the high threats related to GMSoft, it is highly advised that you remove it at once. Manual removal may be done by using the Add/Remove Programs utility; however, related files may remain hidden from you. You may also attempt to remove GMSoft by using your registry editor from the Start menu, then deleting all related files and values. This is a very difficult process, and not recommended for the average user. For prompt and thorough removal, a legitimate antispyware tool such as Spyzooka is advised to detect and remove all viruses and other security threats in a matter of minutes.
