Mmgsvc is a doubly-insidious piece of spyware because it installs itself in your Windows registry. This allows it to start—without your permission—every time you turn your computer on.
You can tell if you have Mmgsvc on your computer by doing a search for its executable file. You may also be able to find it in the “Processes” list of your Task Manager (press Ctrl+Alt+Del, then click the “Processes” tab).
Delete its executable file and remove it from your startup list if you want to get rid of it. Also look for any registry values with this name.
Mmgsvc is considered an elevated threat, and will use up your computer’s memory and processing resources while it violates your privacy.
