Also Known as: Peerdoor

Peerdoor is a backdoor Trojan. It hides itself from the user by generating random file names. Once infected, the computer connects to the Internet giving the attacker access to the infected computer. I am working on a Windows XP Home. I have removed a lot of trojan’s lately. Specifically nail.exe. I used the fix off of symantec. That did not fix the problem. Windows still hangs, frequently crashes. IE half the time does not load, crashes or is slow.
I have Spybot, Ad Aware, and Windows Defender. I also have run scans with Norton’s, Mcafee and AGP. The are not all loaded at the same time. It has come to a point where nothing comes up to any of them. But something was still wrong. I am surprised that I haven’t froze by now.
I ran a scan with SpyZooka and found this Peerdoor. I thought that if it found it, it can delete it also. I downloaded the program and I’m surprised that it worked. This is what I’m going to use from now on.
