Psyrat is a RAT (remote administration tool) that gives the attacker access to your PC and allows him to control it from a remote location. Psyrat gives the attacker full control so that he may use your computer for malicious purposes. The hacker is able to control and configure the server applications, which may make your system become unstable. Psyrat also allows your private information to be accessed, and may cause many symptoms such as new toolbars and a changed homepage.
These applications are very dangerous, and should be removed at once. To remove Psyrat manually, you must kill all associated running processes, then detect all related files and values in the Windows registry and various other locations so that they may be deleted. Manual removal is not advised due to the possibility of damage to your computer. To remove Psyrat automatically, it is suggested you use a reputable antispyware tool such as Spyzooka, which is intended for this purpose.
