Registry Defender is not the worst type of rogue application a computer user can have installed on their machine. Though this program is technically a rogue application it does not usually have all of the typical signs that distinguish standard rogue programs. Simply put, Registry Defender is more of an irritant than a full blown rogue application.

Recommended Action: Immediate removal if user knows that the application got on their computer along with a trojan.
The biggest problem that is being reported about Registry Defender is that in some cases the program can get installed with the help of a trojan. If the user suspects that they have gotten this program because of a trojan than they will most likely need the help of a good malware removal program to completely remove this annoying program. If this program has been installed be the user than it can be simply removed by going to the “add and remove program” section in the control panel and uninstall it.
