AVAntispyware is a malicious antispyware application that appears to be a clone of MS Antispyware 2009. This program installs through Trojans that reside on questionable websites. These sites usually advertise free anti-malware scans, which are bogus. The user will receive pop-up security alerts warning that infections exist on the PC, and suggests they install AVAntispyware. These warnings will be incessant. Immediate removal of AVAntispyware is indicated, because it poses a danger to your computer. Rogue applications such as AVAntispyware are made to frighten the user in to buying a product that actually has no ability whatsoever to detect or remove threats.
