The ACXInstall program is an “ActiveX” type of control that is used to download and install unwanted files on the computer hard drive. It is utilized by such organizations as “ispdialer.com” or “nocreditcard.net” in order to create high cost dialers that will exploit the computers modem to for the access of pornographic and other illicit sites. This activity occurs without the consent of the computer user, and can affect a computer’s privacy and security.
