Trustin.Bar is an adware program disguised as a toolbar add-on for your browser. It was first discovered on April 19 of 2006. It is distributed by the company TRUSTIN, and the web site, http://www.trustinbar.com/. This website is currently shut down, but it is not indicative of the company going out of business or the removal of the Trustin.Bar threat.
Trustin.Bar is installed on your computer manually or as part of a freeware bundle supported by advertisements. It has also been known to be bundled with rogue antispyware, particularly Trust Cleaner. It displays pop-up advertising from its affiliate websites. It resets your home page to %windir%\local.html. It also redirects your browser to its affiliate pages.
According to their EULA, along with giving them consent to display ads on your computer and redirecting your browser, you also consent that, “By installing the Licensed Software, you grant permission for TRUSTIN to collect and use certain information.” In other words, it’s spyware.
The activity of Trustin.Bar can seriously slow down your computer’s performance. It can also potentially cause your Internet browser to freeze or crash. Any supposed benefits it offers are not worth compromising the functionality of your computer, or your privacy.

I had no clue about how to get rid of Trustin.Bar. I don’t know how it came into my computer, but every time I tried to delete it, it came back…When I thought I’ve deleted it, here it was again into my computer. It was like hell for me. Thanks to SpyZooka’s removal tool, now is gone forever. I don’t know what would I do without your help.
I ran System Mechanic Professional 8 on my laptop which uses the Windows Vista OS. The program detected the TrustInBar plug-in as a spyware. It shows the component type coming from the BlackBerry Desktop Manager application loader file. System Mechanic has unsuccessfully tried to remove it and each time it does, my laptop crashes, bringing up the Blue Screen. I have run two other anti-spyware programs and they didn’t detect TrustInBar. For sure SpyZooka is the best, because it is the only one that helped.
