Win32.Codbot is a backdoor Trojan program with many variants. When this spyware is executed, its variants will copy themselves to the %System% directory. The file names will differ between the variants. They will also usually set the “read only”, “hidden” and “system” attributes for their copies. These programs will also allow a hacker to enter through a backdoor. This is particularly dangerous and can result in your computer being controlled by this hacker from a remote location.
