_wuser32.dll Information

_wuser32.dll is a directory file created by Microsoft.  Specifically, it belongs to Microsoft’s Systems Management Server.  It is most commonly found in the file path: %system%\ccm\clicomp\remctrl\1033.

A file with a similar name–user32.dll–is a major file that allows dialog boxes and user windows to show up correctly.  When this file is missing, Windows will not work as it should.

What is a directory and what use are the files in it?  The Windows directory contains files essential to various program functions.  It can be looked at as a place where the various programs keep shortcuts to their execution, so as to keep the system from getting bogged down.

But sometimes the system gets bogged down anyway.  Over time, a registry gets cluttered with entries from old programs that are no longer around, or that have had their entries updated.  Adware, viruses and Trojan horses can damage entires or create false ones so that problems persist even after the actual virus has been removed.

The best way to keep your computer running at top speed and prevent it from a seemingly random crash is to clean the registry on a regular basis.  ZookaWare PC Cleaner offers a free scan so that you can see what files are damaged, malicious, or just out of date.
