~de13ba.tmp is a temporary file that is stored in the Temp folder of computers that run the Windows operating system. It runs through the Windows registry, which is a database containing all of the process files that exist on a computer. Our software team has not yet determined if it is a harmful file.
Even if it is not a malicious piece of programming, it is still a temporary file and therefore should not remain on your computer system for long. Process files that remain when their usefulness has passed are likely to clutter and clog the Windows registry. A cluttered registry can slow a computer down to crawling speeds.
A damaged or infected registry can also cause a computer to crash–over and over and over again! The best thing to do to ensure this doesn’t happen is to run regular scans and cleaning sessions of the registry. You can get a free scan from the ZookaWare PC Cleaner home site.
