The file j3salv.dll is a part of Microsoft Money.  Microsoft Money was the personal finance program of Microsoft. It came alone and also bundled with Microsoft Works and Microsoft Home.  It’s been around since 1991, but Microsoft stopped updating the program in June of 2009.  This file is associated with the Microsoft Works version of the program but could have been included in any other edition.

Microsoft Windows has a database that keeps tabs on all the files of every installed program that it needs to run properly.  This database is called the registry, and has entries for almost every file on your system.  If you get an error that lists a dll file, the most likely problem is with the registry.

Fixing the problem may involve finding the file and putting it back into its correct spot, or changing a wrongly set field in the entry for the file in the registry.  But such fixes are not always simple, and editing the registry needs to be only performed by Windows experts.  This is where ZookaWare PC Cleaner will save you time.  ZookaWare PC Cleaner scans and fixes all registry errors on your computer.
