Error Fix for aaplay.dll

What is a DLL?

DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files contain computer code and resources that can be used by multiple programs at the same time. This uses less system memory and helps your computer system run more efficiently. DLL files give program developers the ability to reuse code to add features to several programs without the need to write new code for each program.

There are many programs that require DLL files to function properly so when one of them is damaged or missing it will cause program crashes and poor system performance.

What is aaplay.dll?

The aaplay.dll file functions as the component that plays various animation formats including .fli and .flc files. This DLL is the AutoDesk Animation Player by AutoDesk Inc. and sometimes prefers animation in MPEG format.

The aaplay.dll file is bundled along with several versions depending on the operating system. For Microsoft Windows Operating Systems the available version is WAAPLAY. The file is available as a zip file and you can save it in a new subfolder under Programs. After this you can configure the connection among video and flc format files and launch the aawin.exe process.

For Windows 95 and Windows NT the version available is PowerFlic.

PowerFLIC allows multiple FLICs to be played all at once and allows Real Time speed Control, contrast adjustment, and brightness adjustment. As for X11 desktops the version is Xanim and Fli-Viewer and QuickTime for Mac.

The aaplay.dll module plays FLIC files. These files may include FLI files from AutoDesk animator and FLC Files from AutoDesk Animator Pro. FLI files are older in format and displays a limited resolution (320 x 200). FLC files have better compression and configurable resolution. The file aaplay.dll supports the display of FLI and FLC files that stores many frames with each frame having an image and maybe a palette, label, or data. A FLIC file has a ring frame in the end that allows animation to be repeatedly played without the perceptible pause between the first and last frame.
