What is a DLL file?
DLL is short for Dynamic Link Library and is a file containing computer code that can be used by multiple programs at the same time. DLL files allow programers to reuse the code in them to add functions to several programs without having to write new code for each one.
There are many programs that rely on DLL files to function so when you have a damaged or missing DLL file it will cause error messages and program crashes.
What is traffic.dll?
Traffic.dll is part of a 3D (three dimensional) computer graphics program. Computer graphics is a branch of computer science that deals with creating and controlling visual content. Another of the traffic.dll file’s functions is helping to reduce the delay on the computer network by classifying and scheduling packets. By classifying what service class a packet belongs to it can then be put into a delivery schedule queue for access to system resources based on the importance of the packet.
Traffic.dll is most often used by Microsoft’s Flight Simulator software as a library module.
