Antivirus Pro

Antivirus Pro is a rogue security program designed to look like a legitimate application for detecting and removing infections.  Antivirus Pro is malware, and attempts to trick the user into buying the product through aggressive and misleading security alerts.  This program claims to scan your PC for infections so that it can detect and remove them.  Antivirus Pro has no ability to follow through with any of the claims it makes, and is a scam designed to take your money.  Antivirus Pro may track your online interests, access private information and cause your PC to become slow or unstable.

Recommended Action:
Remove Immediately

AKA:
AntivirusPlus
Antivirus Plus+

Manual Removal:
To remove Antivirus Plus manually, all running processes must be killed first.  It is then crucial that all related files and values in the Windows registry be located so that they may be deleted.  Manual removal is not easy, and requires thorough knowledge of the process.  Your PC may be at risk of damage as well, if manual removal is not done correctly.

To remove Antivirus Plus automatically, it is suggested that you use a reputable antispyware tool such as ZookaWare PC Cleaner, which is intended for this purpose.

I just turned on my computer yesterday and I had a bunch of pop ups from this antivirus pro. It said that I have to pay for it and it keep on blocking my internet or downloads. I have downloaded Blue Penguin’s program, SpyZooka, from another computer, run the scan and after it found it, the program remove it right away. Now it all seems like a bad dream. Thanks!

I ended up somehow getting Antivirus pro. I got SpyHunter, and have scanned a few times, as well as hunted down all of the files I’ve been told to, but the pop up remained. I tried a scan with SpyZooka and it found it too. But after I removed it with your removal tool, I don’t receive pop ups any more. I guess that means that it’s gone. Thank you for the good job!
