Malware Alarm Removal

You’re working on your computer, minding your own business, when suddenly you find a pop-up box in the middle of your screen, announcing that you have a security problem. Thinking it comes from your installed anti-virus software program, you perhaps click on the ‘Tell me More’ or ‘Click here to remove malicious threat to security’ and you’re guided to a website that sells anti spyware and other such programs designed to protect and secure your computer and its information. This is known as a malware alarm.

A malware alarm is a type of rogue anti-spyware. It is designed to mimic legitimate security alerts, in the hopes of luring you to click on that OK button. In some cases, whether you click on the button or not, it’s already too late and the malware spyware has already invaded your computer. It generally gets in via a trojan, which is a form of electronic parasite that inserts infections, viruses and other attacks on your computer through various security holes.

How do you identify a malware alarm? Usually, it pops up as a legitimate looking warning box. This box is complete with icons and information that shows a startling number of “problems” in your system. The icons will display a fake alarm that suggests that you download a full version of’ their particular brand of anti-spyware software. When you click on the OK button, you will most likely be directed to a bogus security website. The site will often begin installing their full software program without your knowledge or your permission.

Remove Malware Alarm

Malware Alarm is very difficult for the average computer user to identify and remove. As a matter of fact, it’s designed to be difficult to remove, so you may need to find an anti-spyware product that is a little more aggressive in order to ensure the safety of your computer files. If you believe that your computer has been infected with any type of spyware, including a malware alarm, consider investing in a high-quality anti-spyware cleaner.

Be vigilant, do your homework, and keep those antispyware and antivirus subscriptions up to date. Your computer will thank you for it!
