MasterDialer is an ActiveX installer control for premium-rate phone dialers. This program will dial pornographic or questionable toll numbers through the modem of your computer, charging your telephone bill if completed. MasterDialer is also capable of placing additional malware on your PC, which is a risk to the health of your computer as well as your personal information. MasterDialer may be installed by accidentally or purposely visiting questionable or adult websites, but may also place itself on your computer if your security settings are weak. Your PC may become slow performing, and you will likely receive incessant pop-up advertisements. Because MasterDialer is a threat to your PC and personal identity, it should be removed promptly once detected. Manual removal may be attempted by using the add/remove programs located in your control panel. Additionally, you may try from the “start” menu to click “run”, then type in “regedit” to search for related files. Manual removal can cause additional damage to your PC, and is not recommended. To remove MasterDialer and all other parasites that may exist, it is advised that you use a reliable antispyware tool such as Spyzooka.

I ran a free scan with SpyZooka and it found MasterDialer. I thought I can get rid of it by myself, but it wasn’t so easy.. SpyZooka was the one that removed the virus and I’m glad that I’ve found it.
