MediaBack is a rogue program that displays unwanted advertisement pop-ups and banners on the user’s computer. MediaBack is capable of changing your home page and search settings, and may install new toolbars and search bars, as well as additional malware. Most of these malicious applications contain some degree of danger, as they can affect your operating system and cause your computer to become slow.

MediaBack should be removed once detected. Manual removal of MediaBack may be done by killing all related running processes, then detecting files and values that are related in the Windows registry. This is a difficult and complex process that is not advised. To remove MediaBack, use a reputable antispyware tool such as Spyzooka, which will automatically detect and remove all parasites and possible security threats.

This morning, my IE homepage was another one. I tried over and over to get my old one back, but nothing happen. I received pop-ups every minute and I didn’t know what to do, because my av found nothing. I searched over the internet and found this blog. I said: why not? I had to download the program, install it and now everything is working fine. I guess I should do that earlier.
