MyQuickSearch Search Assistant: Find and Remove

MyQuickSearch Search Assistant is a piece of adware that tries to pass itself off as something that will help you.  It is a so-called “browser helper object” (BHO).

BHOs are sometimes-useful add-ons to your Microsoft Internet Explorer or other browser, such as toolbars, that are supposed to enhance your web surfing experience.  All too often, they contain spyware and/or adware that tracks your Internet activity and delivers annoying pop-up advertisements.

MyQuickSearch installs several directories, files, and registry entries onto your computer.  While you can spend the time to hunt out and delete them all, we highly recommend the use of ZookaWare PC Cleaner to ensure that spyware and adware get off and stay off of your computer.
