MySee Alert Adware Detection and Removal

MySee Alert is an adware program that comes from China.  It usually is installed by the strangely-named MyPigSearch, another piece of adware of Chinese origin.  If you have MySee Alert on your computer, you probably have MyPigSearch on it as well—even if you can’t find the files anywhere.

Like all adware, it delivers annoying pop-up ads to your computer.  These will slow your computer down and often provide a security breach that more malicious programs can worm their way in through.

Little else is known about MySee Alert at this time, except that it should be removed (we recommend a tool such as ZookaWare PC Cleaner), its presence possibly indicates the presence of further threats, and that it may be related to the Chinese search engine Baidu.
