Obfus

The real Obfuscated virus is rarely detected. However, many fake spyware programs will detect a fake Obfus in order to scare people into purchasing their software. The real virus logs keystrokes and connects to the internet. It will disable security systems and cause all kinds of havoc on a computer.

My wifes computer is infected with a trojan named obfus.Gen and CiD pop-ups, I need your help.
I have been trying to remove CiD pop-ups for some time now. I have scanned my computer with the following:
Ad-Aware 2007: Scanned several times and removed all the items that were in the privacy objects tab, rebooted and scanned again and came up with zero problems.
Spybot: I have scanned with spy-bot and fixed everything so I thought, every scan keeps popping up with Microsoft WindowsSecurityCenter_disabled, I click on the box, run fix it, itshows that it has been fixed. I run a scan again after a restart and it shows the same problem.
I still get pop-ups, I have looked in Add/Remove programs and noticed that I have CiD Helper, I’m skeptical about removing it because it ask if I’m human and to input a code, I don’t know if this is a trick or not.
A friend of mine told me about this site and I want someone to tell me if this really works because I am desperate.
