Popuper (Puper) Find and Remove

Popuper (Puper) is an adware program that displays advertisements on your computer and may try and alter your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser settings.  It also connects to its home server in order to report on your browser activities and attempt to download new files.

Popuper (Puper) generally changes Explorer’s home page and default search engine.  It also installs a file named intmonp.exe.  This file monitors the Trojan that Popuper (Puper) installs in the host computer and re-installs it if the Trojan happens to get removed by an anti-virus program.

Popuper’s presence on a computer may indicate other malicious files as well.  A free scan with the anti-spyware program ZookaWare PC Cleaner can identify any problems that may exist on a computer.  The paid version of the software is guaranteed to remove all threats within 24 hours of detection, or the customer is refunded the purchase price.
