Rbot is a backdoor trojan that allows the attacker to take over control of a compromised computer. Rbot allows the hacker to display messages (sometimes harmless), turn off anti-virus programs, change network settings, disable system files and use your PC for other malicious and fraudulent purposes. Rbot may also give the hacker access to your private passwords.
Once Rbot is detected, it should be removed at once. To remove Rbot manually, you must kill all associated running processes, then detect all related files and values in the Windows registry and other locations in order to delete them. Manual removal is not advised due to the risk of severe damage to your PC. To remove Rbot automatically, it is suggested that you use a reputable antispyware tool such as Spyzooka, which is designed for this purpose.
