Removal Instructions for AntivirusPro2010

AntivirusPro2010 is a rogue antivirus application designed to use dubious tactics to trick naïve users. It will infect a computer secretly through a Trojan horse then run fake scans and send fake alerts while pretending to be Windows Security Center. The scans that it performs give false results and claims that the user must pay in order to have the infections removed.

Though AntivirusPro2010 claims to be a helpful program, it causes the computer it infects to work dramatically slower. It will also hinder the Internet connection and hijack the Internet browser. On top of this, it will try to disable security applications and block security websites in an attempt to defend itself. The full version of this program is a complete waste of money, so whatever you do, don’t buy it. Instead, remove it immediately.

To do this manually, kill the following processes:

AntivirusPro_2010.exe
yxine.exe
Uninstall.exe
mifiryvele.exe

My computer was infected with AntivirusPro2010. I’ve tried to use add/remove programs in regular and safe mode to remove this program, but everytime I click remove, the program starts running a virus scan. It is really annoying and hard to remove.

  2. Jim Peterson says:

AntivirusPro2010 showed up recently and started harassing me. I was just giving me messages telling me to buy it’s product and ran scans of the system by itself.
I tried to remove it by myself, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. After downloading SpyZooka, there’s nothing to worry. Thanks!
