Ripjac is a backdoor software program that uses Trojans that allow an attacker to control a compromised PC from a remote location. Ripjac enables the user to access private information, change network settings, execute commands and modify or disable system files. Your computer may be used for malicious or fraudulent intents. Ripjac may also allow additional malware to be placed on your PC.
Ripjac should be removed at once when detected. To remove Ripjac manually, you must kill all associated running processes, then detect all related files and values in the Windows registry and various other locations in order to delete them. Due to the risk of damage to your PC, manual removal is not advised. To remove Ripjac automatically, it is suggested that you use a reliable antispyware application such as Spyzooka, which is intended for this purpose.
