Searchwww Toolbar Dangers and Removal

Searchwww is a toolbar that installs itself onto Microsoft Internet Explorer.  It often makes its way onto the browser by way of a “drive-by” Active-X download.  This simply means that it can hop off of any insecure website and onto your computer.  The host website may not even know it carries the adware.

Searchwww’s main “feature” is that it resets the Explorer homepage from your page of choice to searchwww.com.  Usually, the toolbar can be removed and the home page can be easily reset.
