SeekSeek Spyware/Adware Combo, Detection and Removal

SeekSeek is a bizarre little piece of spyware that can hijack your browser and direct your searches towards non-existent websites.  It also redirects your browser away from some websites that you may type in, and send you to a site of its choice instead.  Of course it wouldn’t be a real adware program if it didn’t display annoying pop-ups on your computer—which it does!

Its parent site, SeekSeek.com, will do its best to collect your personal information in a profile.  This profile may contain, but is not limited to, your name, address, education, hobbies, and yearly income.  The site claims the right to share your information with third-party advertisers.  It also claims the right to rent, sell, or otherwise share your profile data to whomever it wants!

You can get rid of SeekSeek by deleting the following files.  A free scan with ZookaWare PC Cleaner will alert you to any other privacy-violating programs you may have on your computer.
