Unix.Cliph is a backdoor Trojan. Backdoor Trojans run in the background without user consent. They exploit security weaknesses to contact the attacker. Backdoor Trojans do a variety of activities depending on the needs of the attacker. Some attackers log keystrokes and take screenshots. Other attackers intercept e-mail and steal passwords. Still others use the backdoor to remotely control the computer.
