Win32.Insurect

The Win32.Insurect program is known as a Backdoor Trojan, which means that it can access a user’s computer and provides a significant security risk.  Backdoor Trojans enter a machine surreptitiously and can cause a number of computer malfunctions, or even the complete destruction of a hard drive.  In some cases, users can find that their machine has been taken over by a hacker at a remote location, and utilized for some illegal or unsavory actions.

However, the good news is that it is possible to remove a program like Win32.Insurect, and there are some excellent spyware removal products to assist in this effort.  One of the best is ZookaWare’s ZookaWare PC Cleaner, which offers guaranteed removal of these types of spyware.

I had a backdoor trojan named Win32.Insurect. I’ve scanned my computer with both Norton and Webroot Spysweeper. They keep picking up a bunch of spyware and other trojans, but the backdoor trojan can’t be deleted by Norton. I tried doing a scan in safe mode and it still was unable to delete it. I kept getting a bunch of popups from websites and there was an icon on my toolbar that keeps directing me to go to a website to download another spyware program. I ran a scan with Spyzooka and found the same virus. So I decided to download the removal tool and I am finally released. Now I know this is a site I can trust;)

I tried another program and it screwed my computer up. I downloaded and installed SpyZooka and I had my system cleaned up and running in about an hour.
    Thanks!
